Work is now complete on remaining video packages BayNewsVideo has produced to assist organizers and sponsors of the annual Digital Shootout in Bonaire.
Shot on location on the Caribbean island of Bonaire on HDV, the final pieces spotlight the contributions of such sponsors as Light & Motion, manufacturers of underwater housings for video cameras.
The Digital Shootout, scheduled in 2008 in Bonaire from June 7-14th, is a hands-on series of scuba dives and workshops during which participants work on improving their skills as
underwater photographers and videographers.
The piece displayed above in the FLV format showcases the work of Light & Motion representative Russ Sanoian in Bonaire, who demonstrates a state-of-the-art housing for the Nikon D200, known as
the Titan.(MSRP $4,499)
In the video, Sanoian appears demonstrating the housing's USB advanced camera control, along with the unit's other features such as fingertip electronic controls.
Digital Shootout organizers Dan Baldocci, Berkley White and Richard Cheng are also featured, commenting upon the valuable constributions of Light & Motion and other sponsors.
The 2008 edition of the Digital Shootout offers more than $10,000 in prizes for best images and videos produced during the event.
