The news concerned the results following a closed door meeting of Tri-City Medical Center directors.
The board elected to chose an interim director to lead hospital, which is currently in the midst of an adminstrative controversy that's resulted in top executives being placed on paid leave.
Details of the investigation have not been made public.
By a 4-2 vote, the hospital board voted to hired Larry B. Anderson of Coto de Caza in Orange County, to serve as Tri-City's interim CEO, according to
published reports in the North County Times.
